Efficient horror, Jack Holmes is a short adventure that draws attention for its beautiful settings and terrifying atmosphere. Despite this, it fails as a first-person shooter, with balancing problems that can harm the overall experience.
Jack Holmes: Master of Puppets isn’t a game for everyone, then. Thanks to its unpolished nature and how easy death can come, some will bail on it on the early hours. For horror fans with patience and persistence, however, their time will ultimately be rewarded. Its voice acting is bad, its combat is dire, and its story is neither here nor there, but there’s a certain undeniable charm that makes Jack Holmes: Master of Puppets worth it in the end.

I really enjoyed this game, It has a few minor details that might need looking into, but overall it is a great game. Kudos to the person that made this game by himself.

What caught my attention the most about the game were its environments, but the game goes beyond the walking simulator by adding a very fun and careful gumplay. A game that I highly recommend to every horror game lover. If you have any questions about the game, you have a prologue that is completely free. I'm sure it will catch you.

Jack Holmes: Master of Puppets is a rollercoaster ride of fun, frights, and formidable challenges. It’s like a haunted house, a circus, and a brain teaser all rolled into one. And I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Jack Holmes Master of Puppets has some performance problems on PS5 as low textures that do not occur in the PC version, even so it is a great title with a wide variety of scenarios, for the price it costs are approximately 5 hours of fun!

I really liked the cover of the game and when I searched the internet I saw that there were many youtubers playing it and I was interested to see its variety of scenarios and, for an indie, with quite acceptable graphics. After playing it I have to say that I liked it a lot and even more after knowing that it is made by a single person, it has enough merit.

A wondrous result of combing RE7 gameplay, silent hill-like creature design, and amusement park attractions, Jack Holmes: Master of Puppets is a great, slightly janky indie horror game, that any fan of survival horror would appreciate. The bugs were, but the eerie environments and ever changing landscape kept my attention wrapped. Only two bugs were game breaking, both involving clipping through the map and having no way to exit via menu, so I had to restart the game. But this is one game that was fun to play and had some decent scares.
