Darrell N gave it a10:
This book took me back in time, and immersed me in the fascinating world of Florence Nightingale and her family. Until now, it seems few people knew much about this amazing woman, but Gillian Gill has produced this terrific book to correct that. I was only mildly interested in the first part of the book, but my interest gained momentum with each successive chapter. I did not want it to end.
Antoinette M. C gave it a9:
Rather difficult to read, especially the first 80 pages. Later there is more about the main character and book becomes very interesting.
