* The Darkness will make you blind in which it serves you the thrill and mystery This movie is extremely brilliant which dazzles in extreme surprises, mystery and also goosebumps Intelligent screen play is the main factor for the movie to shoot the components needed to be displayed in such orderly fashion without any disruption The Director of this film David Fincher has made this movie into a master piece by giving correct amount of properties and attributes to this film such a task is performed perfectly. The acting phase of Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman have a great chemistry with each other considering their roles in this film they stand out as iconic they both make an amazing performance The character John Doe portrayed by Kevin Spacey has accomplished perfectly in displaying a terrific serial killer by giving its charm and grace to the character itself This movies tells that it knows what darkness really is and it shows how thrilling it will be Overall Movie is Dark & Brilliant but also shines as a sparkled gem stone .

This film broke my heart, in more ways than one. Firstly the animal cruelty & death issues that arose during the making of it and secondly the fact it is absolutely nothing like the book. This piece of Hollywood trash is just a cheap cash in on Tolkien's masterpiece. The book is a beautifully written exciting and sometimes sad adventure that you really immerse yourself in fully. This movie? My gods! This movie just sucks, big time and what Mr Jackson has done is just made a no-brained action movie from a book he had no right to touch. After watching this I just wonder if he just flicked through the pages and just circled the semi action orientated parts. Jackson, you have proved yourself to be a pathetic director and with this rubbish you have done a 'Lucas'. I just hope someone (like Ridley Scott) in the future is allowed to remake it the way it should be. This Tolkien fan is sad and totally disappointed.… Full Review »
Well, that movie was a disappointment. The potential was there for a good movie, the relationship with the President was well done, the lead character was believable and the attack on the White House was clever enough to suspend your disbelief. And then it all fell apart terribly.
Why did they not use the son more? That's your tension right there. They seemed to be building it up and it was like they just gave up on the stroryline. Don't get me started on the codes nonsense.
And oh the plot-holes. Look it's an action movie, I can forgive bullets that never hit the hero, magic weapons, stuff like that but what's unforgivable are characters that do things and situations that would never, ever happen. They just spoiled the movie completely.
And the violence. Wow. I think the director watched too much Walking Dead. It was completely gratuitous and overly graphic.
Overall the movie had all the right ingredients but were spoiled completely by the terrible plot holes. Not recommended.… Full Review »
It's a preposterous idea for a film, skeptic that I was I only saw it because my friends persuaded me, but it was a good film, most of the people who think otherwise seem to be overly sensitive Americans. I could understand all the bad reviews if this film claimed to be documentary but it doesn't, in retrospect it's no more ridiculous than any other vampire film… Full Review »
