Well this is the best possessed makeup ever!
Some scenes are really shocking and disgusting, I really liked this movie, but it is not my favo
rite horror movie. In the 70's there were some better horror movies: Carrie!
But this movie should be in every top 10 horror movie list! A must see!

We have already seen 'Anna Karenina' done straight at least a dozen times, so why not take a different approach? In this case, the filmmakers impose Brechtian distancing devices (e.g., the theatrical settings) to challenge the audience's expectations. Apparently, lots of people don't want to be challenged.

Also, I think Joe Wright is an underrated director whose work always surprises and astonishes me. This film, which is often breathtakingly, deliriously beautiful, is no exception. (Watch for the stunning, horrifying horse race scene.) Of special note are the film's exquisite costumes, music, art and production design, and cinematography. And superb acting; Keira Knightley makes a worthy and memorable Anna.

This is my second consecutive Noah B. movie starring Greta Gerwig which just fell flat for me. Sure, it's somewhat real, it's clever, and urbane, but it's also very catty, nasty, and trendy. I chuckled twice in the movie, but didn't fully laugh once. I wanted to like it and laugh more, but the movie didn't pull it out of me. Full Review »

This is one of the most generic movie I've seen this year. The entire cast is not only unmemorable, they are unlikable. Damn Brits aren't very good at making movie.... Full Review »

This is a rather corny superhero movie but not too corny. Jennifer Garner plays the part well and just as good as she did in Daredevil. It's pretty simplistic and there isn't too much substance to the storyline, but visually there is enough here to enjoy. The fight scenes are pretty fun and the characters are likable enough. I know it coped a lot of slack for being a bad superhero film, but I think it works and has just enough cheese to still be enjoyable which is why I watched it again. Full Review »
