  1. Teen Wolf is an okay television show at best; it's a step in the right direction for MTV, but that isn't saying all that much. The acting isn't always that great, neither is the script. However, the show benefits from a strong concept and interesting storylines. Not the best show on the air, but Teen Wolf is entertaining and will be more than satisfying for some viewers. I was shocked to find out about this series...it's totally stealing the premise of a web series on KoldCast.tv called The Book of Dallas...the first episode of Save Me is even called The Book of Beth!
Seriously, you can watch the whole web series here:

    And it's a LOT better.

  4. Season 5 wraps up the "main" story of the Lich, which at the time was a relief. I felt that the show was bogged down by the constant Lich threat but the truth is that NOT having a constant objective seemed to hinder the show slightly. Free to go about on adventures without reason beyond the one presented in the show sounded like we would have another Season 1. Sadly, only few episodes hit my interest and got me engaged (Mystery Dungeon, Simon & Marcy, BMO Lost, and The Suitor). All other episodes seem run of the mill with Adventure Time and the creators aren't really pushing the show outside of its comfort zone, but music, background (in most cases), and sound design still remain one of the best. 5. Season 4 played with relationships not only with major character Finn but with minor characters as well. It doesn't bring anything new to the table in terms of story elements, which can be seen in any conventional TV show. Though that is dully stated, as the episode Card Wars, BMO Noire, and The Hard Easy are excellent examples of innovation and creativity. Card Wars displays a fun, lighthearted episode with "I wish I had that" elements, BMO Noire with some witty humor and a cartoony but gritty story, and The Hard Easy with very good examples of rich backgrounds and coy characters that add their bit to the Adventure Time world. Season 4 is alright, good, and excellent at times, creating a mix bag of feelings. Full Review »
