This used to be an excellent show but its lost its way a lot. The Flashbacks should have been scraped after season 2,they don't really serve any purpose and feel pretty fake .
Its beginning to rehash itself quite a lot and the edginess of Stephen Amell is missing at the minute.. The characters seem safe now and it really needs a cull. John Diggle, Felcity and Thea could/should be replaced. Needs to be a lot darker.
Its not playing to its strengths.Malcolm, who has been a tremendous character, is underused and uninteresting John Diggle is there all the time.
Its ratings are way way down and if they don't pick up, Arrow will be canceled.… Full Review »

I am getting there, and liking him better but Eccleston was my first Doctor - made me love the show. I loved Tenant and Smith. Capaldi isn't there yet. I don't like all the two parters. I am not happy at the moment with last night's show. I am happy though for anything that gets me further away from that Sleep No More episode - worst writing in the history of Doctor Who. Best comment I read about that disgusting episode was that it would be followed by a monster created from used kleenexes and snot. ew. So I am waiting to see how this episode will be completed next week - making this a three parter.… Full Review »

Jon Stewart chose Trevor Noah for a reason and I believe that Jon chose well. Trevor has a good delivery, still provides a satiric perspective on the news and gives us, as viewers, his own take on how the world works. Between Noah at 11:00 followed by Larry Wilmore, another of Jon's Daily Show "correspondents" there are more race issues covered and that is very topical and very important. Worldwide racism is becoming increasingly visible (it has always been there) and these two offer the legitimacy of their perspective. The Daily Show with Jon Stewart will never be the same. Yes, Jon Stewart broke up with us. But he gave us notice and he gave us a replacement. I will miss him (though I hear there will be a second coming) but the new bf is pretty good and I am sticking around.… Full Review »

Story is ok, but stretches too much to fill a 13 episodes show. A 2 hours movie could cover the whole story without losing any plot element. Also many plot holes and incoherence. (While the characters struggle to beat the villain, you will find hundreds way to defeat a villain who's only power can be easily deflected by not hearing him.
Action sequences are so bad that it would have been better if they didn't even try to put any. (Can't even begin to compare with Dare Devil's epic action sequences).
Except Carrie-Anne Moss and Rachael Taylor, the acting performances are mediocre. Not bad enough to push you away, but permanent one faced acting. (Jessica Jones has a "they stole my candy" face which changes as much as her clothes during 13 episodes of the show).
The only real engine which allows the show to take off is how its describes the reaction of victims to the bad guy's power. One thing the writers manage to succeed in is to pose the Villain as a real threat and portrait reasonably how mind controlling would affect victims.… Full Review »

They had little focus on the story arcs based on previous seasons. Utterly disappointing. Watch penny dreadful if you want good classic gothic horror portrayed in the way it was meant to be portrayed, as a period piece. This show had interesting new takes on these classic charactors but lost momentum, meaning, and identity. This is a show that doesn't know what it is, like a sad , lonely orphan of television horror melodrama.… Full Review »
