Even if the series is more than 20 years old and therefore you have to evaluate carefully. Visually, perhaps, she was up to date in 1994.
Everything that is shown there is today much better.
In terms of content, the series offers only average quality. Shatner would not have had to give up for the rubbish. The story is so thin that they fit on a DIN A6 sheet.… Full Review »

It's like Silicon Valley, without all the professionalism in writing, characters, storylines, realisticness (if this is a word).
It's got some youth we barely have backgrounds for, who are weird and can't relate to, they're absolutely unlikeable, every single one of them. I don't care about the smug little "CEO", I can't believe he's a visionary like Richard in SV. Is he even a tech guy, or he's just a man with an idea? We NEVER really know if he can even code.
Nash is just an annoying crybaby. All the "twists" are as serious as "I'm going to do the opposite what everyone told me otherwise nothing would happen in the show". Also, all the Venture Capitalist ping-pong has been done better in SV. Yes, I'm bringing up SV a lot, since the whole show just feels like huuuuuuuuge, but really really cheap knockoff of that show. It's a shiny but empty shell.
If you kindof-sortof liked Silicon Valley, but it was too distant for you, maybe this show is a better choice. As a tech geek, I think this show is simply lame, but might have more commercial success compared to SV.
I just finished the whole first season and I could not care less what will happen to these unrealistic, unlikeable, boring cardboard-cutout "characters".… Full Review »

I honestly cannot remember half the episodes because nothing actually happened. For the most part the show is devolving and has entered into a cycle of escalation in order to maintain viewer interest. Its a bit like Dragonball Z at this point where the good guys develop a means to fight back, only for the bad guys to get even bigger weapons, only to result in the good guys making more powerful weapons, and so on and so forth. It was largely devoid of any sort of reasoning and situations became laughable. For instance, after creating a awesome anti-vampire weapon, the 1st that happens is that it does not work... because apparently no one thought to spend 5 seconds to click "play" to test it before going back out in the field. On the reverse side, we now have nukes floating around because they needed something bigger than just plain ole vampires. On top of the silliness with the weapons, we have this character development void where no one developed in this season. They all started and ended the same way. Nothing changed by the end of the season. A few useless side characters died, but the main characters are back at square 1. The writers need to up their game. Depend less on Dragonball Z style escalation and put more into the characters and plots to make them a bit more believable. Overall, this was a lousy season.… Full Review »
This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. Breaking bad is in my top 3 shows that include Game of Thrones and Narcos. Instead of the usual garbage on television, this is something different. Walter does an amazing job of juggling the many relationships he has, cooking meth and his battle with cancer. Supporting characters like Jesse, Tuco, Saul, Skyler, Flynn, the in-laws do an amazing job and each play a vital part in the show offering something new instead of just being extras. The entire show keeps reminding you of the bigger picture and the seriousness of Walter's actions. I could watch this show again and wished they had more than 4 seasons. This show actual made me binge watch the series. If you haven't seen it... get it watched.… Full Review »
