I love this Cougar Town season, be better than the other two. The performance of Courtney Cox, wow, be awesome, is one of my favorite series. Cougar Town is perfect. Full Review »

I saw the 1st 25 minutes of The River last night on Hulu. That was long enough for me to turn the TV off, resist the urge to throw it in the River, and join a monastery, so I never have to see that shaky camera crap again. It’s like Steven Spielberg came over to my house and took a dump in my satellite dish. The only way I would even consider watching the second half of that episode would be if I could be assured all the characters would die, preferably from dragonfly bites, before the closing credits. This was “found” footage that should have remained lost – and then destroyed. Full Review »
  3. This was such a good series and I'm glad that it has finally reached America. I really enjoyed the acting and more importantly the characters, my favourite being his best friend played by Daniel Kaluuya (who I'm glad has got into movies, Johnny English Reborn). The awkwardness of the character and his situation is brilliant and is put onto screen really well. I am absolutely buzzing for a second series, hopefully with a few more episodes Full Review »
  4. Key and Peele so far has been pretty stellar. The skits are funny and I personally like their styles. Best Obama impression on T.V. by far. But the stand up parts seem awkward. While I think they are decent-above average actors, they aren't stand up comedians. They can't do the stand up like Chappelle or Nick Swardson, who made their career out of it. Not to say their stand up topics are bad, it's just an awkward delivery. The one about Keegan giving a high five to Jordan got me laughing hard in Episode 3. I would love to see this show continue, as I think it has great potential. I think something to build on is getting a constant and notable back up crew, aka Charlie Murphy for The Chappelle Show. Keegan and Jordan are usually the only two in the skit, which I feel hinders the long term potential. Full Review »

My wife and I have watched 17 episodes so far and we're having trouble understanding why it had such a short run. The characters are real and likable, the casting seems very good, the individual scenes seem well-directed, the story lines are compelling, there seem to be enough little surprises to keep the viewers on their toes and the vision sequences offer the cast a chance to act out of character allowing them a way to expand. I wish there were more episodes. Full Review »
