After a few episodes, I grew tired of watching the "hero" always making wrong decisions and being surrounded by hostile and/or irritating people, it was like watching the same joke played over and over until one gets sick. If it weren't for Sophie, I'd probably give Season 3 a shot, but at this point I'm probably better off looking for something else.

Moreover, the girls' making fun of Han for being short stopped being funny after the third time they did it. I know sitcoms need running gags, but this one is just unnecessary.

All in all, season 2 is enjoyable if you like Sophie and pretty much a gamble if you don't. I was able to bear with her being in every episode until the season finale where she proved once and for all that her incessant appearances are going to ruin the show for me, so this is where I stop.

The fantasy-fulfilment sequences are surprisingly good and the inspired casting of Coogan - I can't help but imagine this was a stroke of luck as Hoffman's presence would have overwhelmed- is a pleasant surprise. The 'profanity' may jar in the American ear, but from my view, the humor is savvy and does not resort to toilet humor as implied by other reviews. Full Review »

The actors are excellent, the origins story well told, but the overall plot is somewhat disappointing, at least on this first season. But a good show anyway, way better than Arrow or the Flash for example. Full Review »

It seemed to be a great concept: the everlasting battle between men and women compressed into the weird situation of being the last man and woman on Earth. When Carol showed up, it was so funny (what if the woman you always say "I wouldn't fu#* her even if she's the last woman on Earth" would really be the last woman on Earth?). But when Melissa appeared the show started to portray Phil as a real jerk.
Now its another "Total Loser Show". Not really funny anymore. Phil is just annoying. He's just like Wile E. Coyote - no matter what he's doing, he will not get Roadrunner. I guess, then I rather look Looney Tunes.

Too bad! Because the beginning of this show was really great and so funny!
