Our look ahead to the Fall TV season continues with our list of premiere dates for all new and returning programs. For descriptions of many of these programs, check our Night-by-Night Guide to Fall TV and our Fall Reality TV Preview.

Start dates for fall's new and returning primetime shows

Though the week of September 20 is considered the major fall premiere week this year (and, indeed, a large number of network shows are launching that week), you can find the season premieres of many other primetime series throughout September, October, and November; these dates are listed below. Several non-primetime shows of particular interest are also included. All times are ET/PT.

Çan't wait for Dexter to return. It's the best show on TV! Michael C. Hall, who play Dexter, should have won the Emmy for Best Actor in a Drama Series. The Emmy's were a joke! Who watches Breaking Bad????

Dexter, Venture Brothers, and American Dad are strangely the only ones I'm really looking forward to.

Lots of series that feel like second nature like Cops, Ultimate fighter, South Park, etc., etc. that while I'll watch them, it almost feels like a "habit" heh.

Good to see a specific date for Conan's show though. Hope he's on the air for as long as he wants. Which looks like the case based on how awful that Lopez show is and has been on the air for..

Seeing it all in a list like this is actually making me interested. Strange considering I usually only watch like 7 or 8 shows during a week outside of football, espn, and the news usually.

Putting many of these dates into my calendar, I'm realizing that I'll be watching WAY too much TV this fall. I'll have to use my scalpel to cut away the riff raff. Then again, it's been a CRAP year for movies, so a little more TV isn't a horrible thing.
