Avoid the new Offspring album at all costs, esp. if you were a fan at any point. It's just shameful, must have been getting tips from Weezer on how not to age gracefully.

  • jerrycurlan

Thanks so much for doing this weekly article. It's indispensible....

  • KamachoMcSagget

I'm logging in for the first time in over a year just to say the new Offspring album kicks ass!!

  • RickFlairbombed

Alright Kamacho, shameful may be a bit much, since the last 2 tracks are decent. Maybe I've changed to where I can't appreciate simple radio friendly pop rock, but Offspring just ape too many other rock radio acts to make this enjoyable. I mean the melodies from "the future is now" and "turning into you" are straight ripped off from Rise Against (band I don't care for), "I wanna secret family with you" not only takes the tempo from American Idiot but the guitar tone as well, "Days Go By" verses are carbon copes of Foo Fighters "Time Like These." It's just a big yawner of an album.
