  • Jay Z leads all artists this year with nine Grammy nominations (which were announced Friday evening), followed by Kendrick Lamar, Justin Timberlake, and Pharrell with seven apiece. Album of the year nominees include Sara Bareilles, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Taylor Swift, Daft Punk, and Kendrick Lamar. Here's a complete list of this year's Grammy nominees; winners will be announced on January 26, 2014, during a live broadcast on CBS.
  • "Can't Hold Us" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis was the most streamed track on Spotify in 2013; Billboard has the full top 10 list.
  • Vevo's most-watched music video of the year was "Wrecking Ball" by Miley Cyrus, with 371 million views worldwide. Time has the full top-10 list.
  • Beats Music, the new streaming music service from Trent Reznor, Dr. Dre, and Jimmy Iovine, is expected to launch in January. Rolling Stone has some details.
