  • Regions of Light and Sound of God is the solo LP debut from My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James; the album arrives on February 5. - Pitchfork

  • Twelve Reasons To Die, the Ghostface Killah album originally set for a November 20 release, has been delayed until February.

  • A few acts have been announced for next year's two All Tomorrow's Parties festivals in the UK, which will be curated by TV on the Radio and Deerhunter.
  • Also beginning to announce performers for 2013 is Austin's SXSW festival; acts already booked include Alt-J, Amon Tobin, Thurston Moore, WHY?, and Akron/Family.
  • Sigur Rós have announced a North American tour for 2013; based on the conveniently placed gaps in the schedule, you can also mark the band down for next year's Coachella festival. - Pitchfork
