Psychedelic Pill 2xCD- The band's second 2012 release (after the covers album Americana 68) is their first album of original songs together since 1996. And it appears to be a much stronger set than Americana, according to critics, who have been praising the album prior to its release. Though only nine songs in length, the album stretches across two CDs thanks to extended running times for tracks such as "Ramada Inn" and "Walk Like a Giant," each clocking in at more than 16 minutes, while album opener "Driftin' Back" gets closer to the half-hour mark.
