Clear eyes, full hearts, didn't lose
Critics were mad about themSaturday night, the Television Critics Association, a group comprised of over 200 professional TV critics and journalists who cover the industry, named the winners of the 27th Annual TCA Awards in an invitation-only ceremony hosted by Parks and Recreation's Nick Offerman.
This year, awards were handed out in a dozen categories, up from last year's 11 thanks to the addition of a reality show category. While Friday Night Lights was selected as the year's best overall program for the first time in its five seasons, Mad Men and Modern Family were the only shows to win multiple awards, with two apiece. Last year, Glee topped all series with three wins, but that show went home empty-handed this year.
Critic Alan Sepinwall has a good description of the ceremony itself on his blog. Meanwhile, the full list of this year's winners and nominees appears below.
