Mostly head-spinning sound bites.

New York Post V. A. Musetto

It's all very fascinating, but one thing is missing: Hobbs never attempts to probe the mind of Staton.

Film Threat Ron Wells

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe our two heroes are nothing more than a pair of grinning jackals. However, if you spend so much time documenting their behavior, you should devote at least as much time exploring their motivations as you do recording the condemnations of the victims' families.

Christian Science Monitor David Sterritt

The subject is disturbing, but the movie offers a rare glimpse at yet another way in which money has displaced morality in contemporary American life.

TV Guide Maitland McDonagh

It will horrify people who had no idea a subculture of killer collectibles existed, and leave viewers more familiar with the subject wishing it had dug a little deeper.

Maddeningly blasé about its own position in the serial-killer myth.

Edo A. gave it an 8:
Very thought provoking, a tale of a demented society, and how horror and art get certain people excited. I wonder how come this doesn't seem likely to take place in Europe or anywhere else in the Western world for that matter. The detached way in which Hobbs follows the gallery of people is actually helpful, as the viewer must think about the moral meaning of the facts presented. Flows? I wish someone in the movie would criticize these two characters that collects the art made by serial killers. Someohow, this doesn't happen anywhere on the film. See it.
