50

Austin Chronicle Russell Smith

Shoddy, brainless, pre-sold kids' entertainment.

40

TV Guide Maitland McDonagh

A hyperactive hodgepodge.

38

New York Post Lou Lumenick

After the monster is subdued, then there's a much less humorous, and more mindlessly violent second half.

38

Charlotte Observer Lawrence Toppman

A frenzied, cacophonic cartoon.

35

Mr. Showbiz Cody Clark

None of the movie's abundant humor is better than faintly amusing.

35

TNT RoughCut Darrius Pelissier

If you give it half a chance, it will entertain you.

30

Variety Robert Koehler

Voice work is weirdly awful and funny at the same time.

25

Entertainment Weekly Bruce Fretts

Aa shockingly chintzy spin-off of Fox's post ''Pokémon'' cartoon hit.

25

San Francisco Chronicle Peter Stack

Has an unrelenting staccato quality. Some would say a jackhammer quality.

25

Boston Globe Loren King

A video game barely disguised as a movie. Violent, and the monsters are scary for younger children.

25

Baltimore Sun Cheryl Lu-Lien Tan

Stay away from this movie. Brainless cartoonish violence.

20

The New York Times Lawrence Van Gelder

Comes off as noisy and ill conceived, long on morphing monsters, short on storytelling talent and uneven in its efforts at animation.

20

Los Angeles Times John Anderson

It's an awfully confusing journey, unless you're of pro-Digi-ous intelligence. Or a digimaniac. Or just 6.

Washington Post Stephen Hunter

So twitchy, fidgety, skittery and wiggly that the drug it made me yearn for was Dramamine, followed by a chaser of bourbon, 12 years old.

Logan S gave it a10:
Yeah, the first and last third of the movie were not very good, but the part on the internet was so epic and awesome, that even now, at 17, I still get goosebumps whenever I see it.

Josh W. gave it a10:
How can this movie be rated by ADULTS? this is a kids movie and it should be rated by kids. When I was a kid, I loved this movie to death. and the nostalgia keeps me loving it. Seriously, if adults are rating kids movies, then what's the point?

Emanuel D. gave it an8:
I think "digimon the movie" is one of the bests movies i have never saw, because there are cool digimons like: diaboromon and rapidmon (gold version) but the other digimon are cool too. Congratulations to japanish people, they know do very well the animes. Bye bye.

Tyler G. gave it a10:
This movie is the best movie i never seen for kids movie and it look so cool i wish i was in it so i could be in the action.

Eddy F. gave it a10:
Oustanding. But you will only understand it if you watch digimon. I can certainly see why the mivie would be terrible if you hadn't seen digmon before; it merges the first season of episodes to the second.

matthew B. gave it a10:
It's amazing! I have never seen a digimon movie so incredible as that.

Sam gave it a2:
Awful film. I want to die. it sucks badly. Lame characters were the only thing that were holding back Pokemon movies (except for Brock) from being great, there's a lot more holding this one back. Lame characters, lame visuals, lame plot, and lame "action". Die.
