New York Daily News Jami Bernard
The movie equivalent of a medical experiment gone horribly wrong and kept in a jar of formaldehyde as a warning to others: Comedy can be a deadly weapon in the wrong hands.
Read Full Review >TV Guide Maitland McDonagh
The lighting and makeup are exceptionally harsh; all the women look shockingly rough beneath their garish makeup.
Read Full Review >Variety Todd McCarthy
Few pretty actresses have so thoroughly discarded their vanity in an outright vanity piece as Jenny McCarthy does in Dirty Love, so it's unfortunate for her this exercise in comic self-abnegation, which she wrote for herself, falls so awfully flat.
Read Full Review >New York Post Kyle Smith
The rest of the cast is uniformly awful, including Carmen Electra and Kathy Griffin as a wacky medium who asks, "What do I look like? A comedian?" Not from where I'm sitting.

Dirty Love offers a series of desperate would-be comic moments.
Read Full Review >Film Threat Rory L. Aronsky
Hollywood is definitely at its worst here and not the type of Hollywood which would dare to greenlight this; just Hollywood being portrayed on film.

It will surely yield nominations for worst picture.

Even by the standards of its bottom-feeding genre, Dirty Love clings to the gutter like a rat in garbage.
Read Full Review >Chicago Sun-Times Roger Ebert
Dirty Love wasn't written and directed, it was committed. Here is a film so pitiful, it doesn't rise to the level of badness. It is hopelessly incompetent.
Read Full Review >The Hollywood Reporter Richard James Havis
This banal comedy is filmmaking of the lowest order.
Read Full Review >Village Voice Mark Holcomb
A kind of "Sex and the City" for L.A. bottom-feeders awash in clichéd, self-loathing misogyny that would make Howard Stern flinch.

These people giving it a 9 or a 10 - they are kidding us, right? Oh, it's bad.

One of the all time worsts. Of course I have not seen all the movies that have been made over the years, but I've seen quite a few. This worthless trash has to be the Worst that I've seen. How did this even get made? How did the suits at whatever studio this was made green light this? Ah, some questions may never be answered.
Corey D gave it a10:
This is seriously my favorite comedy...its a laugh out loud movie and Jenny is hilarious in it! i also thought Carmens roll was funny! i don't know why but my all time favorite part is the very beginning! i don't understand why the critics are so hard on it! its rare to get a genuine comedy!! two thumbs up from me!
Frank S gave it a1:
This was jaw dropping awful, so inept you would swear it was some rejected X rated sitcom frm the WB. Mostly women gave this a favorable rating, that is probably the most convincing reason of why a woman shouldn't be president.
Roxann A. gave it a9:
All the MALE critics slammed this movie. It's not a chick flick but it's definitely written from a female perspective. There are scenes that are so damn funny I was screaming out loud. To be honest I've never thought about Jenny McCarthy one way or the other so I didn't know what to expect when I tuned in. I absolutely love her now and this movie is way funnier than many so-called blockbuster films that only have one or two funny scenes in the entire movie. Every female should watch this and laugh their ass off. And for all those snotty NY reviewers- u can put it where the sun don't shine. Especially the Village Voice review, "A kind of "Sex and the City" for L.A. bottom-feeders awash in clichéd, self-loathing misogyny that would make Howard Stern flinch." You're kidding right? Howard Stern the King of misogyny ; and LA bottom feeders, u need to lighten up, u really missed the point. It's true that Carmen Electra's over the top performance almost ruined the movie for me; and a few scenes with Kam Heskin's were way too long and a bit annoying. But over all I have never seen a comedy quite like this one and I mean that in the best possible way. Jenny McCarthy is hysterical, this is a great popcorn flick.
Abby l gave it an8:
This movie was actually funny. I am really surprised at the terrible reviews it got from critics. Dirty Love was funny in all the right places.
Jonathan W. gave it a10:
Hilarious movie. One of my favorite comedy's and its not easy to get me voting for a movie. For all the critics with bad ratings for Jenny McCarthy's "Dirty Love", don't watch an R rated comedy with hopes of an Oscar performance.
