Village Voice Jessica Winter
My friend even supplied a blurbable quote: "The best dumbass-buddy comedy I've seen since "Wayne's World!"

What holds the movie together -- albeit tenuously -- is the surprisingly sweet-natured pairing of Jesse and Chester.
Read Full Review >Los Angeles Times Ernesto Lechner
There's a benign, peace-loving air about it all that forces you to accept and embrace the film's two central characters.
Read Full Review >Chicago Reader Lisa Alspector
Writer Philip Stark ("That '70s Show") and director Danny Leiner ("Freaks and Geeks") apply mature comic instincts to an adolescent genre.
Read Full Review >Variety Joe Leydon
Aimed squarely at adolescents who might find "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" too intellectually taxing.
Read Full Review >LA Weekly Chuck Wilson
A film where everyone -- white, black, gay or otherwise -- is equally, lovably dumb.

If you accept the film on its own brain-damaged level, there actually are laughs to be had.
Read Full Review >New York Post Jonathan Foreman
An almost chuckle-free mess, so amateurish and lame that the cast often has that embarrassed look you see on dogs given ridiculous haircuts.
Chicago Tribune Robert K. Elder
At the end of 83 unmerciful minutes, audiences will be exclaiming, "Dude, I can't believe I sat through that movie!?" Stick to the trailer.

Any civilization that can produce a movie this stupid probably deserves to be hit by famine and pestilence.
Entertainment Weekly Owen Gleiberman
The definition of aiming low is when the John Hughes film you're ripping off is ''Weird Science."
TNT RoughCut Andy Klein
In the real audience with which I watched it, the only laughs were from kids under eight or nine, mostly at hilarious "hooter" jokes.
Mr. Showbiz Cody Clark
None, repeat, none of this is funny.

Kevin M gave it an8:
I really hope nobody expected something deep or even a point from this movie. Also if you're not completely dead inside like Mark B., you might find this to be one for your list of 20 funniest screwball comedies you've ever seen.
Why Not? gave it a5:
Okay, so "Dude, Where's My Car?" may not be the best film of the past decade. So what? It's not like there aren't movies WORSE than this -- there are plenty. The plotline seemed a little confusing to me -- who are the German guys? -- but the characters are lovable doofuses. I did find myself laughing a couple times, but I didn't particularly like how almost every part of the movie centered on the main characters' stupidity. Overall, I feel that the movie was average. It's no masterpiece, but it's okay for a laugh on a boring day. I give this movie a 53/100.
Rahul D gave it a0:
I don't see why people enjoy this. It was the worst comedy I have ever seen. If you want to watch a "stupid" but funny comedy, try Zoolander or even Harold and Kumar.
Rob Y. gave it a9:
if you didnt like this movie your probably a boring old fart it is hilarious. what makes it good is that its stupid
Sean C. gave it a9:
If you didn't like it, you didn't get it.
Tim R. gave it a10:

cory l. gave it a10:
