Chicago Sun-Times Roger Ebert
Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties is actually funnier and more charming than the first film.

A genuinely clever kidpic that should delight moppets, please parents -- and maybe tickle a few tweens.
Read Full Review >Chicago Tribune Jessica Reaves
When the humans have the sense to keep quiet, and the animals are doing their shtick, there's great fun to be had.
Read Full Review >The Globe and Mail (Toronto) Jennie Punter
The stellar array of British talent (voicing the various farm animals) and Murray (whom one suspects has rewritten Garfield's lines to be Murray-esque) give Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties all its energy and make the human actors -- even comedian Connolly -- look and sound like square panels in a two-dimensional comic strip.
Read Full Review >The Onion (A.V. Club) Nathan Rabin
Two Kitties marks a considerable improvement over its predecessor. It's faster paced and the filmmakers wisely shift the focus away from bland owner Breckin Meyer and onto a menagerie of chattering animals.
Read Full Review >Washington Post Stephen Hunter
The movie is intermittently amusing, particularly when the American human part of the cast (Breckin Meyer and Jennifer Love Hewitt) are off-screen, the longer and farther the better.

To borrow and slightly emend the words of Shakespeare: That cat will mew, but this dog will have the day.
Read Full Review >Entertainment Weekly Scott Brown
In the ''flesh,'' Garfield himself (voiced by Bill Murray) is once again strikingly unlikable, a bloated, bingeing fascist.
Read Full Review >LA Weekly Jim Ridley
Murray's gift for imperious indifference is the only reason to sit through a second for-kids-only movie about Garfield the lasagna-loving cat.
Read Full Review >The Hollywood Reporter Michael Rechtshaffen
This lifeless, talky, family-oriented feature never manages to rise to the occasion of its witty title.
Read Full Review >Empire Helen O'Hara
The predictable plot and gags make you feel like you’re watching it in cat-years, but there are a few successfully silly set-pieces that will delight kids.
Read Full Review >Miami Herald Peter Debruge
Something about the sequel, Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties, doesn't seem nearly as obnoxious as the original.
Read Full Review >New York Post Kyle Smith
Kids should see Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties. It'll help prepare them for a lifetime of mediocre entertainment ahead.
Read Full Review >Boston Globe Janice Page
Though Murray and Curry gamely deliver some chuckle-worthy one-liners along the way, they're mostly leashed to material as moldy and uninspired as the "Jeffersons" theme song.
Read Full Review >New York Daily News Elizabeth Weitzman
In a town as status-conscious as Hollywood, the embarrassment of two "Garfield" movies on your résumé must sting like the Dickens.
Read Full Review >USA Today Claudia Puig
It comes off like a coughed-up furball: a wan rehash with too many elements of the hard-to-swallow 2004 original.
Read Full Review >San Francisco Chronicle Peter Hartlaub
Children will enjoy the physical humor, but discerning adults are advised to pawn their sons and daughters off on some other unsuspecting chaperone -- preferably one who doesn't read movie reviews.
Read Full Review >Austin Chronicle Marrit Ingman
A Tail of Two Kitties couldn't care less about its human principals, and all it wants its animals to do is air-guitar to "Cat Scratch Fever" and wear silly sunglasses.

Jim D. gave it a10:
Fun Stuff. I highly recommend it.
David E. gave it a7:
It was a lot better than the first I think. Was it great? No. But it was alright and I found myself actually enjoying it.
Jaclyn W. gave it a0:
Okay, so the first Garfield movie already sucked enough, so they come back with a second one to make the audiences feel like committing suicide even more? Urgh! If I can say anything about this movie to the people who feel like seeing it, you have to be 4-10 to actually enjoy it.
Gerron K. gave it a5:
"A Tail Of Two Kitties" surprised me. It was actually a tolerable movie. The jokes are barely there, and the performances are all wooden, but I seemed to somewhat enjoy this comedy. Garfield moves and looks a bit better than the first movie. I won't say it was a good movie, but it was a pleasant surprise.
Frederick S. gave it a2:
Someone obviously used a bunch of false names to spam the votes and give this movie three 10's in a row. BTW this movie is rubbish.
Hexen M. gave it a0:
This movie made me nearly go insane.I wouldn't dare touch this crap! There should be laws to stop junk like this from going through the system. You might just have noticed that it is still voiced by the cheap Bill Murry.
Nick E. gave it a10:
The greatest film of all time.
