MPAA RATING: PG-13 for sequences of intense action violence, some frightening sci-fi images, and brief suggestive content
Starring Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, Tim Blake Nelson, Ty Burrell, and William Hurt
The Incredible Hulk kicks off an all-new, explosive and action-packed epic of one of the most popular Super Heroes of all time. In the film, scientist Bruce Banner desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashes the unbridled force of rage within him: The Hulk. Living in the shadows—cut off form a life he knew and the woman he loves, Betty Ross—Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross and the military machinery that seeks to capture him and brutally exploit his power. As all three grapple with the secrets that led to The Hulk’s creation, they are confronted with a monstrous new adversary known as the Abomination, whose destructive strength exceeds even The Hulk’s own. I felt the original was much better as far as story and acting are concerned. Norton seemed like he was bored the entire movie and very disconnected, just a terrible job as far as being a action movie star. Bana did a much better job as portraying a man that was wrestling with his inner demons, and this movie had no explanation as to why Norton was able to take that huge dose of gamma, like the 03 movie did. Watch the movie and then watch the Ang Lee version, yes the new movie is heavy on action unlike the first but the Lee version had much more substance and should be given some room to maneuver because it was setting up the origin of IMO, one of the greatest superheroes of all time. Skip this movie unless you like mindless action, if you want substance then watch the original, I wish they would have made a sequel instead of re-work the whole movie, especially since Bana actually looked like the comic book Bruce Banner, unlike Norton.

The Incredible Hulk is a fun decent movie that's a vast improvement over the 2003 version. The movie isn't incredible other than the special effects and often the movie did get boring but, the cast was okay and the action was impressive so it wasn't bad.

This far more action packed and stylized film reboot is more angry and action packed than the cerebral and slower 2003's Ang Lee directed Hulk( which I prefer over this one.) The Incredible Hulk is very fast paced and hurtles trough it's story at lighting fast speed ( which doesn't hinder the film at all.) the pace makes it easier and harder to follow, what makes it hard is the fact that it just doesn't take it's time to explain allot of the minor details and explore the story more. On the flip what makes it easier is that it's complete fun form beginning to end and has a likable and well know actor at the helm as the main character, namely Edward Norton. Who did an exceptional job as Bruce Banner, Norton had the right mannerisms that Dr. Banner had in the comic. He put the his obsession with getting rid of the Hulk, he put his strong love for Betty Ross and his hatred for General Ross in there too. But here was one thing they didn't put much effort into Norton's Banner, his genius. This reboot focused more on the action then the story of it all, but hat doesn't mean this was a bad film, no in fact this was a well made and well acted comic book film. Louis Leterier directs an exceptional cast to a whole new level of action and style in the incredible Hulk. This reboot should not be looked down on it's great fun and very well done, albeit it's got more of the 80's series in then the comic's, but still nothing to frown upon. All in all The Incredible Hulk is just what the title says, Incredible and is definitely worth the watch. Hulk Smash!!

The claymation SFX: genius!
Hyper S gave it a7:
No real complaints. The story wasn't full proof and the plot wasn't original in anyway. You don't have to have seen the movie, but you pretty much know where its going as it quickly falls into the cliche action movie. However, the special effects are extraordinary (a step above the original hulk), the pace of the story felt fine, and the battle sequence was attention holding. Don't expect anything new or imaginative and you could probably enjoy the movie for what it is... there is no development of any love story... just some good ole' fashion HULK SMASH!
Jack S. gave it a7:
This had some of the most greatest special effects! I do think though, this was as about as good as Iron Man, but not even close to The Dark Knight. The special effects aren't as good as Pans Labyrinth. It had some of the most amazing action scenes ever! Plot wasn't that good, it didn't really make sense at parts of the movie. But, it had nice action, in the end the point became clear, and the ending keeps you waiting!
Romeo Romance gave it an8:
Upgrade of Ang Lee's version. Edward Norton and Tim Roth raise the bar for sure.. with only one side character actor that attempts to sink the entire movie down with his "cartoon-ish" portrayal of someone who may or may not become "The Leader" in possible sequels... however besides that slight snare, and future CG improvements.. this movie defn' rocks the house. Especially more Marvel fans.. we may owe more than we think to the director for hounding the Marvel reps with good ideas of hero cross-overs and intertwined story's throughout the latest and soon to come super-hero movies, that have most (like myself) drooling at the possibilities.
