Starring Lizzie Brocheré, Arthur Dupont, Guillaume Baché, Pierre Perrier, Nicolas Nollet, Valérie Mairesse, Karl E. Landler, and Mathieu Boujenah

Lucie and Pierre, 20-year-old brother and sister, share an intimate relationship with each other and their group of friends. Pierre is a magnet for the band of youths, but he himself is unstable and narcissistic. One day Pierre is found savagely murdered. As the police investigation drags on, Lucie, aided by her friends, decides to find out who killed her brother. As we get deeper into the story, we learn of complexly cross-hatched dependencies and humiliations, where bodies are casually traded and ransomed. The surprise ending prompts as many questions as it answers about how sexuality can both inspire and defeat us. (Strand Releasing)

Only the French could or would make a movie like this. You'll enjoy it if you turn off your brain and concentrate on the eye candy.

Village Voice Aaron Hillis

Only the French seem to get away with passing off sensational sex romps as high art, but One to Another is pretty much just trashy–its murder-mystery conceit a sideshow to the film's primary offering: nubile nudity.

New York Daily News Jack Mathews

The confusing time line of Pascal Arnold and Jean-Marc Barr's bizarre tale of sibling romance, murder and obsession is just one of its problems. The others are the romance, the murder and the obsession.
