Entertainment Weekly Lisa Schwarzbaum
There are moments of real funniness in this smarter-than-anticipated goof-fest.

This comic gem is as delightful as it is derivative.

If you're hard up for raunchy college humor, this is your ticket right here.
Read Full Review >Variety Dennis Harvey
A cut above most youth-skewed sex comedies of late, with bouncy execution and an unsophisticated but positive gender-sensitivity message elevating a so-so script.
Read Full Review >TV Guide Maitland McDonagh
All's well that ends well, and rest assured, the consciousness-raising lessons are cloaked in gross-out gags.
Read Full Review >Los Angeles Times Kevin Thomas
The result is crass but reasonably harmless, although to hear one of the guys hold forth on how much he's learned about family and loyalty in just one week living with the DOGs is enough to make a person gag.
Read Full Review >The Globe and Mail (Toronto) Jason Anderson
The film's putrid sexism is subverted in a series of sharp and funny scenes that at least raise Sorority Boys to the level of "American Pie."
Read Full Review >Chicago Tribune Loren King
The situations and jokes are as predictable and as lowbrow as the endless pratfalls the boys take in their high heels.
Read Full Review >Boston Globe Loren King
Crude, lewd comedy that makes ''Animal House'' seem wholesome.
Read Full Review >Washington Post Dave Nuttycombe
To that long list of third- and fourth-rate comedies we can now add Sorority Boys.
Read Full Review >Seattle Post-Intelligencer Ellen A. Kim
Somebody in Hollywood thought taking "Some Like It Hot" and "Animal House," sticking them in a blender and serving in Dixie cups was a good idea. That somebody should be fired.

Recycles the most obvious jokes from similar comedies that preceded it, such as "Tootsie," but with the most rudimentary characters.
Austin Chronicle Marjorie Baumgarten
The logic of it all will be Greek to anyone not predisposed to the movie's rude and crude humor.
Read Full Review >Salon.com Stephanie Zacharek
They don't even look as if they're having fun. Their stint as cross-dressers is simply an endurance test for them, and for us.
Read Full Review >Chicago Sun-Times Roger Ebert
One element of Sorority Boys is undeniably good, and that is the title. Pause by the poster on the way into the theater. That will be your high point.
Read Full Review >New Times (L.A.) David Ehrenstein
Not only unfunny, but downright repellent.
The Onion (A.V. Club) Nathan Rabin
A shockingly inane college comedy that accomplishes the nearly impossible feat of being far worse than it looks.
Read Full Review >The New York Times Dana Stevens
A film that even a rabid lowbrow like Homer Simpson (or, when the mood strikes, this critic) would find beneath his dignity.

[Anonymous] gave it a7:
Techically a horrible movie filled with cliches and horrid story. Yet the villian in the film has the most strangest voice and it honestly makes me giggle every time I hear it.
Robert M. gave it a10:
Anyone who scores this movie less than a 7 is lying to you. The movie yes isn't the top on some of the list for comedies, but 2 and 0's? Cmon - NOT even close to being fair. The girl characters from the D.O.G alma house were hilarious, as were the guys from K.O.K. I'm tellin you, rent it at least - but the jokes come quick and fast.
[Anonymous] gave it a0:
Totally useless, a complete waste of time, not worth the 3.33 i paid for it.
Daniƫl B. gave it a 10:
I absolutely loved this movie. I know most critics don't like standard dumb hollywood humor, but I laughed my butt off with this movie! I may not deserve a 10, but that's to pull the average.
Tim B. gave it a 2:
This movie was barely a step above terrible. Aside from a few strained laughs, it's a waste of time. The plot doesn't even merit being described as an afterthought. Yes, the dildo fight was funny, but if that's the best you can say about a movie, I don't think much more needs to be said. I'm not offended in the least by crude, sophomoric humor, but most of this flick just isn't funny. It's not a bad concept, it was just executed very poorly. I'm glad somebody else paid to rent it.
Nicole R. gave it a 9:
This movie was off the hook, just seeing the guys dressed up like girls... (something they dont normally play) was funny in itself, it had a lot of comical points, and i think barry watson did a good job, you people who didnt are crazy!
Lena S. gave it a 10:
This movie is like my bible dude! I loved every last bit of it and I laughed so hard it still hurts! The dildo fight was awesome!
