AR Games: Target Shooting works extremely well in terms of showing off the 3D abilities of the Nintendo 3DS and its external cameras, as well proving to be great fun as players must get up and move around quickly to shoot at all the targets and the main boss. Thoroughly entertaining for a freebie thrown into the 3DS package.

1 of the 2 games available right out of the box, this is the most impressive. The AR right in the name of the game stands for Augmented Reality, which means it imposes images on to real life surfaces right in front of you using the 3D camera on the outside of the 3DS. This gives you a unique, fresh experience you won't find anywhere else. Whats best about it is it offers many different ways to experience this new technology. As you finish with one of the in-game sections you will unlock more. Once you have unlocked all of the available sections, you will gain access to the shop where you can buy even more games using the 3DS play coins (currency earned by walking with the 3DS in sleep mode). With the variety of options this game has, it really shows you the potential of the AR technology. Lets hope more games use this feature. Full Review »

These AR Games are very fun and awe inspiring as through the 3DS you see a card on a flat surface breathe life to a game. There is great potential here and this could be the beginning of franchise or interesting additions to future games. Full Review »
