Bird Mania 3D is the most pleasant kind of surprise: simple, fun, addictive and inexpensive. Charmingly simple yet rewardingly versatile gameplay overcomes any concerns we might have had. For a fast and fun score attack game, you really can't do any better.

Not quite the Angry Birds clone that some may believe at first glance, and it isn't without issues, but for the asking price Bird Mania 3D fundamentally holds true to what cheaper quick-burst games need to be to succeed; fun, inimitable, and packing in that 'one more go' factor.

It's not quite original or addictive enough to compete with the best in the casual genre, but this is a polished and fun enough game that's unlikely to be a purchase you regret. [July 2012, p.107]
  4. You'll reach the top of the high score table easily, leaving little incentive to carry on playing. [Aug 2012, p.102]
  5. May 23, 2012
You can see Bird Mania 3D as cheap entertainment... Or as a huge waste of time. Both points of view are valid.
  6. May 18, 2012
There simply isn't enough to do, especially for a 3DS game. Throw in poor dialogue and barely evident stereoscopic 3D effects, and Bird Mania 3D just isn't worth your time.
  7. Jun 25, 2012
This is dull stuff. [Aug 2012, p.80]

Bird Mania 3D is not a fun game. It is repetitive, lacks the addictiveness of other high-score-focused affairs, has an insult of a story-focused mode, contains no substance outside of a basic mode, and does nothing to convince the player that a good purchase was made. That's all there is to it.

This game is as simple as they come, move the stylus up and down to move the bird. Collect baubles and stars while trying to get as far as you can. It has only one level as far as I can tell. It is essentially the sort of game you would find on iOS. Was it worth 89p? Probably. Full Review »

OK. The good? Cute graphics, slightly addicting, decent music and a fair challenge for those trying to beat all the achievements.
    The bad? No
levels, lacks variety(few settings, enemies, etc.), no online scoreboard, no story development, overly simplistic. Full Review »

Extremely addictive game, You can't stop , So much fun, the 3D doesn't hurt your eyes, even at full, and it is surprisingly cheap! Although it could be improved, for £1.80 It's amazing! Full Review »
