It starts with a steep learning curve, the interface can be creaky, and it's not the prettiest attraction around; but there's still plenty of creative fun to be found in this capable coaster creator.
Though Career Mode is tedious and makes unlocking new elements a chore, the customization options and freedom you have when building coasters are worth the fuss. Coaster Creator 3D is a fun tool for any coaster fan or theme park enthusiast.
While Coaster Creator 3D offers great tools, it is a very limited game experience.
The rollercoaster genre hasn't stood out in the last 9 years and it's not Coaster Creator 3D that will change the way things are looking. While the roller coaster editor is very varied and ambitious, the game is not properly constructed and all its (older) PC counterparts are still more attractive options for anyone looking to build and ride roller coasters.
