    Fans of the genre should have a good time digging through Gardenscapes - just don't expect anything too novel or exciting to pop up in this patch.

    Gardenscapes is not a game you would want to play for long periods of time, but only when you have a few minutes to spare. It is easier than most hidden object games, so you should never become overly frustrated.

    While it's a great hidden-object game, the whole "decorate and restore" goal falls a bit flat. There's no multitude of "new" objects after you buy the main ones. And the whole "garden contest" never happens, at least, not while I've been playing. The graphics are great, as well as the music, but it only takes you about an hour or so to finish the entire game, depending on your ability to find the objects. Even the poor butler gets bored occasionally, with only a few phrases and actions to perform.… Expand
