Match-three gameplay with bonus powers that add a fun twist to the game.
If you liked the last Jewel Master game and want more, then you'll find Cradle of Egypt 2 a solid purchase.
If you are a fan of match-three games, you will enjoy the puzzles but not much else.
It takes a great, classic gameplay concept and executes it rather well while adding in some unique twists. None of these new ideas turn the genre on its head or stand out as some sort of revelation, but none really fail either.

Cradle of Egypt 2 isn't a bad game because it doesn't deliver what it sets out to. In fact, aside from a few gameplay niggles and its rather basic visual style, the title is quite playable, and fans of the Match-3 genre will likely find it absorbing. The problem with it is that it's virtually a carbon copy of the games that precede it.
