  • Summary: (Also known as "Splash or Crash") Master a stone's flight to the bottom of the well! Be one with the stone from the toss to the splash. With a sharp mind and a deft touch on the Circle Pad, master the journey to the bottom of wells filled with obstacles. As you learn to maneuver each stone in free fall and complete each level, you'll unlock more stones and wells. Embrace the challenges that lie ahead...for the flight is at hand.

Each well is designed differently, with various hazards to impede your journey. Some wells have pizzas that break apart; others contain floating cookies that will sacrifice their delicious lives to stop you from getting to the bottom. Armed with a selection of stones, such as the beefy iron ball and the fragile gem, race as fast as possible to the bottom of each well. Then turn on the StreetPass feature and share your speedy conquests with others!

If anything, the problem is that ‘timekillers’ happen to be in abundance nowadays – chances are you’re more likely to turn to your cell phone apps before you’ll come back to Kersploosh! after you’ve beaten it. On the other hand, it really is a fun, charming game the first time around, and at $2.99 it’s an easy to justify purchase for someone who wants a refreshing bit of fast fun on their 3DS.

Kersploosh really isn’t that bad of a game, it’s just short and repetitive. The main replayability in this game is just completing the same ten wells over and over using different objects to improve your times. However, for $3 it is a nice game to play in short bursts.

Splash or Crash is a little, quirky, addictive game. While it can be beaten in half an hour, the real fun begins only when you try to master every well with every "stone". Problem is, not everyone will take this step after beating the game with the unbreakable rubber ball.

A watered-down (no pun intended) stone-tossing experience that isn't even worth its $2.99 price tag.
