  1. If you're already played it in the Wii version, exploring it on 3DS is both familiar and different. [Jan 2012, p.91]

The 3DS version appears to be a 3D-enhanced port of the DS version of the game.

Less-than-consistent frame rate and irritating load times. [Dec 2011, p.86]

It's still enjoyable and entertaining, its humorous style and accessible gameplay perfect for casual and less experienced gamers. It may not put a spell on you, then, but there's still some magic to it.

Contains the essence of the Wii game, although it lacks a lot of the content. Should be cheaper to compensate. Isn't. [Christmas 2011, p.72]

Despite being a solid game, only die hard fans of both the LEGO games and the Harry Potter franchise will have fun playing this otherwise somewhat monotonous game.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is far from a disaster. Newcomers to the whole LEGO phenomenon will probably dig it, but the poor visuals, frame rate jitters and lackluster objectives left us wanting more. It's time for this franchise to evolve in a big way.

Best Lego game yet. Uses all previous lego games ingenuity and puts it into this episode. Well worth the $50.00 for days of family fun if thats the type of gaming you look forward to. Expand

This is the most boring game I have played on 3DS. All you do is collect lego pieces, find secret puzzles and defeat the boss. It is super lame compared to the Mario games. Expand
