As my first Pikmin experience, I really enjoyed Hey! Pikmin for a variety of reasons and found little wrong with it. Whether you have played a Pikmin game before or not, or are just looking for a fun game that’s not too easy and certainly not too hard, give this one a go. I believe a demo is still available from the eShop at the time of this writing as well.
Hey! Pikmin is an incredibly fun platformer that’s easy to pick up and doesn’t take a ton of hours to finish like many games that have come out this year. While I was able to get through the game in a couple of days, reaching 100% completion on each level will take some time and serious dedication.

This game is quite solid, but the Pikmin is really cute and it's a somewhat enjoyable game, kinda colorful, a great strategy game, and a okay amiibo support.

With a slight concept change Hey! Pikmin almost feels like a Metroid light or a jump&run. But with creative environmental puzzles and a focus on the right choice of Pikmin, this mobile interpretation of Captain Olimars travels still carries the spirit of its ‘big’ siblings.
Hey! Pikmin is very clever when it comes to level design and introducing new Pikmin, but offers too little challenge. Even the boss fights are easy, which is a pity for a game that looks and feels this terrific.

Overall, Hey Pikmin retains a lot of what makes this series great. The terrific character and art design, fun flinging action, and lovable Pikmin and wildlife all work well on the small screen. However, anyone expecting the surprisingly unforgiving nature of the main series will be shocked at how simple this is in comparison. That might not be a terrible black mark on Hey Pikmin, but it’s a little disappointing.
An uninteresting and boring platform game, which even the army of cute pikmins can't pull from the below average score.
Just beat the game. Didn't play other entries in the series and I was totally not expected to see **** low score for this awesome game. Excellent game, creative game design and level design. Just cool and chill game to play. I'm pretty sure that I'll want to beat it again in a year or two.

Honestly, it's sort of sad seeing all these mediocre reviews about Hey!, this game is not oly a bad pikmin game, but a plain bad platformer in general. to all the others reading the reviews, if you're planning to get this, don't, you'd be better off saving a penny and buying either one of the three original pikmin games or wait a bit of time for pikmin 4.
