Though the one player game is good, and the visuals are nice, it hurts that BGE lacks extra play options, and without online play, this game is hardly worth playing over again.

This visually stunning space shooter lets you battle among the stars, but pilots may be bored by the monotonous shooting and the lack of an alluring story.
  3. If you don't mind the lack of depth, however, Bang! Gunship Elite will send your senses for a loop.
  4. For practical purposes, think of this disc as a professional kickboxer's bombshell girlfriend--you can look, but bad things come to those who touch.
  5. After a few hours with Bang! It becomes painfully clear: This game is all gloss, with little fun beneath the shiny surface. More gameplay variety or multiplayer options would have done wonders to this title.
  6. Daily Radar
The sort of videogame that needs to have the epilepsy warning printed in 72-point Helvetica bold. This game is so colorful, fast and disorienting that we came close to passing out a couple of times and poking ourselves on the "Seaman" microphone.
  7. What Bang! has is a maddening challenge that'll frustrate more than amuse those that play it, as well as some of the prettiest graphics I've ever seen in this type of space shooter (much better than "Starlacer" or any of the "CW" PlayStation titles).

Great looking game, but the level of difiiculty ramps up a little fast.
