  • Summary: Behind the barbed wire fence of Tweedy Farm, Ginger is a chicken with a mission. Fearing for the lives of her friends, she is determined to escape to freedom before it is too late. To do this she enlists the help of Rocky, the smooth talking, flying Rooster...or is he?

    Guide a rescue
attempt to get all of the chickens to safety before they end up as pies. To do this you will have to sneak around the farm collecting objects necessary for the escape. Be careful not to disturb the dogs and avoid being caught by Mr. and Mrs. Tweedy at all costs in this humorous, 3D action game. Collapse

  1. It's not going to set the gaming world ablaze, but it's mix of humor and solid gameplay is a winning combination that guarantees a good time, and is most definitely worth the money.
  2. Unlike the Colonel Sander's recipe there are no secret ingredients here, just a keen attention to style and basic video game concepts.
  3. Although the graphics and the sound effects could have been improved in some areas, there is one thing that remains a constant throughout the game: it is damn funny the whole way through.
  4. Unfortunately average sound, extremely short gameplay and lack of a multiplayer keeps this from being all it could have been.
  5. 72
The gameplay of CR is innovative and exciting to play through, and since expectations were probably fairly low anyway (who puts faith in a kid's game to be great), it's a pleasant surprise.
  6. A commendation for a game which really shows the heart and soul from the movie made it to the game console.
  7. While Chicken Run isn't an exceptionally awful game, it reeks of unfulfilled potential, most notably in the gameplay, which is highly monotonous and downright frustrating.
