It’s just a little too frustrating without adding anything that’s really all that new – the Crazy Hop doesn’t really fundamentally alter the game all that much, meaning the game feels more like a Crazy Taxi map add-on pack than anything else.
Crazy Taxi 2 may have new gameplay mechanics, new cities, and new mini-games than Crazy Taxi but that doesn't make it better than the original. And like I said above, there are some controls issues that I noticed, but that really doesn't effect the enjoyment of the game.

A great game. It takes everything you loved about the first game and adds even more. The new courses are great, and the addition of the Crazy Hop does wonders in terms of opening up the gameplay.
The best addition is definitely the new multi-passenger fares you can pick up, adding a new, and quite difficult challenge to your taxi driving skills as you try to beat the timer while delivering up to four passengers to different locales.
Another excellent game.
As great a game as the original, but like the first one, the ride only lasts for so long before it gets repetitious.
Feels more like Crazy Taxi 1.5 than a full sequel. The same basic, addictive formula is present, but for some reason it just doesn't feel as exciting or challenging as the original.
Summary The Crazy Taxi Cab Co. has set up shop in New York City, and the streets of the Big Apple will never be the same. Hop into your ride and scour the city for fares. Race against the clock for a big payoff!
