A terrific way to pass the time in between those epic sessions of "Skies of Arcadia" and "Shenmue," Mirra BMX is worth every penny.
  2. The Dreamcast version's graphical flaws manage to wreck anything the game has going for it, leaving behind an ugly, unplayable mess.
  3. 100
This game can grind, manual, ollie, combo, and trick out just as well as THPS2 -- but it does it with two less wheels.
  4. Any Hawk fan that has yet to play any version should definitely check out this quality title.
  5. Dreamcast HQ
I think if you're looking for something new besides the next skateboarding game, you'll be more than happy with this game.
  6. Antagonist
Doesn't quite beat the master (Tony Hawk), but it's still an ass-kickingly fun gaming experience.
  7. Sega X
This game is loads of fun even for a beginner such as myself.
  8. The way Acclaim brought freestyle biking to a console is just awesome. While Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX is not perfect, it has enough good aspects in it to overlook the little bad things.
  9. While fans of BMX will enjoy the cool licenses and game features (like the height meter for midair boasts), casual gamers who are used to training wheels will find both a plug-and-play arcade game and a deep career mode.
  10. This one would be a must-have if not for the evils of slowdown and gameplay glitches that take a top-notch experience and effectively rip the fun right out of it.
  11. 50
As with its PlayStation counterpart, it's best to not even play Dave Mirra. The gameplay is incomplete with inexcusably terrible graphics and thumb-numbing controls.
  12. The addictive gameplay along with clean textures and smooth animations produce a rock solid game. The lack of a level editor is something of a letdown, but I guess we'll have to just wait for "Dave Mirra 2."
