  • Summary: Raw instinct takes over in this adrenaline-pumping journey into Survival Horror. Something is terribly wrong. Your covert mission to inflitrate an isolated, research compound, has gon haywire... now you find yourself pursued by a relentless, pre-historic terror. Suddenly, your mission becomes a desperate fight for survival. Collapse

  1. A decent job of reskinning the old PlayStation version with new Dreamcast graphics, the game is still dark and moody, with the action well spaced out between the tense situations.
  2. Think of it as a time capsule of sorts, and a lesson in just how far hardware has progressed over a few short years.
  3. Both games are directly targeted at the budget level, and are steals for gamers that have never owned the PlayStation versions, or just never had the chance to really get into either one.
  4. Dino Crisis is essentially "Resident Evil" with dirty great lizards instead of rotting zombies, it's still atmospheric and cinematic and it's still a bloody good survival horror romp.

I can whole-heartedly recommend this game to Dreamcast fans who have never played the game... just don't expect any huge bragging rights over those PlayStation owners.
  6. Fails to take advantage of the Dreamcast hardware, resulting in a game that is structurally sound but visually average by Dreamcast standards.
  7. Regina is one tough chick (a poster girl for the fictitious 'EuroAsia' of videogame and anime lore), but doesn't have the 'deer caught in the headlight' charm of Claire Redfield or Jill Valentine.

classic Dino crisis much more slow pace then Dino crisis 2 but so much more rewarding. Loved all the puzzles, reminds me of the classic resident evil, you cant just go running through guns blazing you had to manage your ammo and supplies. Expand
