  • Summary: Instead of fixing any of Psycho Circus' problems, or adding some Dreamcast-only levels, the programmers at Tremor have actually removed some key features of the PC version.

  1. Take KISS out of the picture and you have a mildly entertaining shooter that does an adequate job of shooting things up. But if you're a KISS fan expecting lots of face paint and heavy guitar riffs, forget it.
  2. A mindless shoot 'em up in every sense, and doesn't try to conceal that fact. If this type of gameplay appeals to you, give this circus a chance.

    It was supposed to be more, and you always feel that when chopping through level after monotonous corridor. It was supposed to be a KISS game, man.
  4. Instead of fixing any of Psycho Circus' problems, adding some Dreamcast-only levels, or even just making the game an exact port of the original, the programmers at Tremor have actually removed some key features of the PC version.

    Being a die-hard Kiss fan (yes, I even liked some of their glam-daze releases) I was hopeful. However, besides the astounding body count and loose ties to the Macfarlane comic, there was little of interest in this otherwise and frustrating forray into the shooter world. Expand
