  1. Pick this game up today and you'll still be playing it months from now, without ever once feeling bored. How many games can you say that about?
  2. Quite simply brilliant. I have not been held by a game like this for a long time, it is addictive, compelling and quite marvellous to play.

MSR is like a lover. Sometimes you'll spend hours and hours enjoying its company, finding much pleasure in what it can give you. But, when something irritates you about it, it'll spill over into hours and hours of mind-numbing irritation, and there'll be moments when you decide that you've just had enough and don't want to touch it again.
  4. Bizarre neglected to focus on polishing MSR's overall driving experience. Not that MSR is a bad game, but there are at least a few other Dreamcast racers I would have to recommend before it. "Test Drive: Le Mans," anyone?

Its the best racing game i ever played.
  2. I had the chance to play the game back in 2000. It was mindblowing. All the cities, the details, the music. A very arcade game, very challenging. This game paved the way for Microsoft and the PGR franchise.

Sadly it wasn't enough to save the Sega Dreamcast !

Certainly the best feeling racer on the market, even with the X-Box sequel on the market now falling flat on it's gameplay face, and while some people moan about the difficulty and scoring system, I think it makes the game actually challenging, despite it's sometimes less than amazing rewards. Very VERY good racing, but not quite as long lasting as some would have you think - despite have almost 300 tracks, it does become chore-like after ten levels or so. Expand
