So lackluster in so many aspects of execution that it pains me to see a company be so desperate that they feel like they have to release such garbage on the public, because it honestly has no business on a next-generation console.
  2. Only die-hard fans of Acclaim's long-running series should bother with this title.
  3. More of a rental than a purchase, unless you're a huge football fanatic who requires every pigskin video game.
  4. An improved version of last year's disaster is still not worth the having.
  5. Why settle for crap like this when the excellent NFL 2K1 is available? Avoid this one like the plague.
  6. If you really like a more sim-like environment than you may want to check QBC 2001 out as it offers Dreamcast gamers a definite alternative to Sega's offering.
  7. It's a damned shame, but there's just about no good reason to bring this game into your life.

While Quarterback Club 2001 has some positive qualities, think of it as an afternoon snack that will end up making you twice as hungry for the real meal being served up by Visual Concepts later this year.
  9. The fact is, both "NFL2K" and "NFL2K" blow this game away on literally every level.
