Everything about this game was great for its time, except the most important thing. Graphics were, of course, great considering the Dreamcast was the only 128-bit machine on the market. Creating your own cars was way cool, or could have been. Very deep and long-lasting, just like Gran Turismo games. The way that Sega botched the whole thing with awful controls is almost criminal. Darn near heartbreaking, and something that could have very easily been avoided had anyone on the dev team actually played either of Polyphony's GT titles (that they were outright copying, though you can't knock them for that) out at the time. So, oddly enough, Gran Turismo 2 via Bleem for DC is the best racer on DC. Expand

It may be a "Gran Turismo" clone, but it's still as stunning and immersive a driving experience as you're ever going to find on the Dreamcast

One of the better driving/sims on the market, and could even give the heralded "GT2000" a run for it's money.

So even though the controls are shoddy and the physics aren't realistic, those things don't detract from the overall enjoyment of the game.
