  1. Asphalt: Urban GT 2 is a fun and visually impressive arcade-style racer, even if it is just an evolutionary upgrade of the original game.
  2. Though the game is gussied up with smooth visuals (and again, the Pussycat Dolls), the incredible ease of each and every event ultimately renders the game worthless for most seasoned gamers.

This game is really easy. I had the first one on my samsung phone and the game play is not much different from that. There is a very good selection of cars (but no Porsche :-o) and lots of tracks. My 5 year old son clocked this game in about 3 days. He seemed to find more joy in pimping out the rides than racing. My partner liked this game a lot although I think that had something to do with the PCD's! The game doesn't utilize the touch screen much, which is basically the whole point of a ds. Full Review »

Nice graphics, lots of options from racing to police chase. Lots of cars to choose from when you progress ... if you're into racing games like Need for Speed this NDS is a must. Full Review »

A solid improvement over the abysmal first Asphalt title. Cleverly, the developers have pinched some of the good features from the Burnout series and NFS:MW which makes for a fair amount of depth to this racer. The visuals too are a marked improvement over the messy first Asphalt - the graphics are clear and well defined, the sense of speed is quite convincing. Unfortunately, the driving model is far too simple to provide any fun in itself, especially in multi-player mode which is severely lacking. This sort of game on the DS lives or dies on its multi-player functionality, and sadly this is where Asphalt 2 really lets itself down. Certainly one of the better racers for the DS, but still not quite there yet! Full Review »
