  1. Few DS titles on the shelves right now can compare to the addictive (and often nostalgic) delights found in BLT2. The playability stands as an example of how DS touch games should be made.

Online play is stupendous. [Issue#21, p.85]
  3. While not exactly a revolution, Bomberman Land Touch! 2 is a worthy successor to a worthy title, with a credible single-player mini-game campaign and a truly superb range of multiplayer options.

The core Story Mode and the various mini-games contained therein are mildly enjoyable diversions for a time, but what you're likely to really want to sink you're teeth into is the classic Battle Mode and its excellent online support.

A great game and a big success. The sheer variety of mini-games on offer and their usage of the touch screen in a multitude of ways makes the single player fun and the multiplayer mode a real joy to play, locally or online.

You'll find enough options and maps to keep you happy, the best part definitely being the eight-player support with one cart. Slightly less cool is the four-player support via Nintendo's Wi-Fi connection, though it's tough to complain.

Bomberman Land Touch 2 does exactly what it needs to do, lets you bomb your way through various mini-games and an insanely fun battle mode for a pretty modest price.
  8. There aren't many multiplayer party collections that offer this much bang for the buck.
  9. 79
As a standalone package, Bomberman Land Touch! 2 is a wholly recommended Nintendo DS game: the mini-games are fun, the adventure is fulfilling, and the multiplayer support is an absolute blast. But for those who've already fronted the thirty bucks for the original game, it might be a harder sell.

Offers plenty of minigames (attractions) in Story Mode. They are clever enough to make a fun gaming experience for quite a while. The use of stylus is essential and adds up the the pleasure. The original style Bomberman is included as Battle Mode. More complex puzzles, twists in the plot and less one dimensional characters would have made this a gem instead of just a jolly nice game. Compared to the horrid Wii-version this is a masterpiece though. [May 2008]

Fairly standard snes-like action-rpg style gameplay. Think Secret of Mana, but with bombs. Leveling up provides extra bombs and explosion Fairly standard snes-like action-rpg style gameplay. Think Secret of Mana, but with bombs. Leveling up provides extra bombs and explosion radius, and ability to kick bombs, etc. Quite a few different bomb types. The more monsters you kill with a single explosion, the more bonus XP you get, so maximizing that is pretty fun. The story line is fairly weak, the gameplay is fairly good, and the minigames are rather infrequent (and not really that good). Full Review »
