  1. If you can have only one racing game on the DS, get Mario Kart DS. However, after that, you'd do well to check out Pixar's Cars: Mater-National Championship.
  2. If you fancy a bit of no-frills drifting action, this is a safe bet. [Issue#17, p.92]

    It's definitely a better decision to get Cars Mater-National over the DS prequel, but, unless the recipient is in the elementary school age bracket, it's still not recommended.

    Bought this for my young kids for christmas, but have ended up playing it quite often myself. The mini games are a nice side challenge. Highly recommended . Expand

    This game was terrible due to the hard to manage cars and boring tracks. Stay away from it if you can.
