  1. A game that fans of the series will appreciate simply because it allows them to play though the final season of their favorite TV show. But if you are looking for an exhilarating game to accompany the style and the story, you will be very disappointed.
  2. This game just isn’t very enjoyable. The story is weak, the gameplay isn’t varied enough, and the visuals aren’t very attractive. Only Lyoko fans will be interested.
  3. For those of you who have heard of the show, but never seen it then this title maybe worth the 30 bucks. For those that have placed the previous title or those not fans of RPGs you should hold off until this title drops $10 dollars or at least rent it first before you buy it.

With a combination of linear levels and uninspired level design Fall of XANA does little to entice players into the wonderful world of the show.

Its biggest problem is the fact that it's very inaccessible to anyone that hasn't been following the show passionately. Those huge fans of the show will know what is going on, and will find a slightly clunky, but perfectly workable RPG that doesn’t do near as much with its source material as it ought to.
  6. Here's what we're dealing with: Code Lyoko: Fall of X.A.N.A. is an obtuse, for-fans-only generic RPG with no defining characteristics.
  7. Deriving pleasure from this dull, monotonous RPG is a challenge that should only be undertaken by the most hardcore Code Lyoko fans.
  8. Fall of X.A.N.A. has a lot of problems that only fans of the series will be able to overcome.
  9. So if you really want to support Code Lyoko, go buy some of the DVDs or watch a marathon. Regardless of what you choose, it’ll be time better spent than with this game.
  10. The story is a snoozer, and without previous exposure to the characters and their world, it won’t make much sense. It’s also short, ugly, boring, tedious and unbalanced, and offers nothing new or innovative to the genre.
  11. Cut scenes are few and far between, and the dialogue is pretty short and doesn't do a great job of explaining what the hell is going on for any newcomers to the series. Everything I wanted to learn about the world of Lyoko I had to do by referring to the Internet, which isn't a great way of making your game appeal to the masses.
