  1. The deliberate pacing and educational value of simulating forensic investigations makes for a great adventure-style gameplay.
  2. Crime Scene DS does a great job immersing you in the world of forensics. Though the replay value is dubious, it doesn't really matter. The game is long enough and fun enough it could be worth it, even if you only play it once.
  3. Yes, it sounds like Phoenix Wright in that respect, but Crime Scene has none of the charm, character, or creativity of Capcom's courtroom series. [Apr 2010, p.89]
  4. Between the broken controls, the annoying protagonist and godawful soundtrack, Crime Scene is best left, to use police terms, in the dusty backroom of unsolved cases.
