  1. In stark contrast to its Wii counterpart, the handheld version of Despicable Me is an enjoyable experience all around. [Sept 2010, p.90]
  2. As a clever puzzler, Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem succeeds, but when it comes to serving its intended audience, (which is presumably, young kids) it misses the mark.
  3. Nice to see a tie-in game doing something slightly different. [Aug 2010, p.72]

Despicable Me is an enjoyable adaptation providing many interesting challenges thanks to the effective construction of areas and different tasks of the minions.
  5. The thoughtful puzzles in this movie adaptation are often overshadowed by the steep challenge and troublesome controls.

Spontaneously hopping from maddeningly difficult to mindlessly simple stages and providing a somewhat dull experience all around, Despicable Me: The Game – Minion Mayhem is largely tedious and frustrating, though with some spots of fun and imagination.
