MattP.Jun 13, 20072I am an avid dragonball z fan but this game is nothing more than luck. Your charectors would be at least 5 levels above the enemy but unless the invisible deck gives you good cards, they can just slowly whittle your health to nothing. In short, i have every dbz game available in the usa, but i painfully regret paying 30 dollars for this suped up version of the card game "war".

Jul 7, 20116It was great in the first few minutes, but all the cards felt powerful and, there was no strategy in it. Also there was not many stuff to do, just walking around waiting for some random battle momments.

If this game didn't follow the early-days Dragon Ball storyline, the dreadful simplicity of the card-battle gameplay mechanics (you could probably complete several battles with your eyes closed) would likely be even less tolerable. [July 2007, p.97]

56Dragon Ball Z: Harukanaru Densetsu's attempt to do something different with card battling, while commendable, doesn't compensate for its shallow gameplay.

It's not bad, but it's not as innovative as I had originally hoped. Yes it is a DBZ game that takes a drastically different approach. But it uses the same old story that we've been hearing for the past ten years.
