Only kids will likely get much out of the game's storyline, but anyone who enjoys a good turn-based strategy-RPG will find plenty to like about this game.
Drone Tactics may look like Advance Wars with giant mechanical bugs and an absurd plot, but it's challenging and fun. Just watch out for those damn centipedes.
Adult players may find the story a tad on the horrendous side, but Drone Tactics easily holds its own in the strategy and gameplay departments.
A solid title with a lot of shine on the core gameplay. Anyone looking for something new in the genre should give this a test run.
Drone Tactics is functional and occasionally fun, but it never gets exciting.
Genre fans won't find much challenge here but it's diverting enough while it lasts. [Aug 2008, p.68]
