    Although it comes not so long after FIFA 06, the additional game modes and features may be enough to qualify it as a purchase for many.

    2006 FIFA World Cup is easy enough for a soccer novice to pick up and enjoy, but deep enough in detail and difficulty options to please the hardcore futbol fan. Though not beyond figuring out, more detailed in-game explanations or tutorials could have only helped make this game more accessible.

    None of the mini-games are particularly enjoyable, but they're there, and they break the monotony as well as provide you with some practice.

    If I would recommend one of the two, I'd say get the DS version, but to be safe get none of those two and go for one of the console versions.
