  • Summary: Giraffes with short necks? Zebras with no stripes? Tiny hippos? A mean Magician mixed up all the African animals and turned the elephants into rocks too. Help Diego, Alicia, Baby Jaguar, Juma and Erin the Elephant undo the Magician's mischief with the Magic Drum. [2K Play]

  1. Go Diego Go Safari Rescue is a fun and (slightly) educational game for the DS. It’s for the youngest players, and as such, is very easy. However, the designers did a good job of making most of the activities engaging and educational.
  2. It’s a learning adventure geared towards young children. If you’re a parent looking for a game to entertain and teach you child something this is the game for you.

I have two little cousins, seven and four, who always want to play my videogames but they can't get a hang of the controls or concepts to most of them. Go, Diego, Go! Safari Rescue is perfect for them.
  4. Older kids will find little challenge in the game's tasks, meaning that Diego's adventure is really for youngsters who have an older brother or sister with a DS and haven't played a lot of games yet.
  5. The game isn't terribly long, and is easily broken in most levels in the sense that it's actually impossible to lose. This may be a frustrating concept to parents as there are no consequences for failing, but read into it how you will.
